Cockroaches
Not just gross - cockroaches spread bacteria and trigger asthma.
Australian, American and Oriental cockroaches respond well to a standard residual spray. German cockroaches are a different beast - fast-breeding, often pesticide-resistant, and a job for someone who knows what they're doing. We treat both, and we don't just knock down the visible adults - we break the cycle.

Signs of infestation
- Live cockroaches at night when you flick the kitchen light on
- Small, dark droppings (like coarse ground pepper) in cupboards
- Musty, oily smell - strong in heavy infestations
- Egg cases (oothecae) tucked behind appliances or under sinks
- Brown smear marks where they've travelled along edges
How we treat cockroaches
- Internal inspection - kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, sub-floor
- Residual surface spray to harbourage and entry points
- Targeted gel-bait placement (essential for German cockroaches)
- Insect Growth Regulators (IGRs) to break the breeding cycle
- Follow-up service for heavy infestations
- Sanitation advice tailored to your home or business
Prevention
- Wipe down benches and clean under appliances regularly
- Don't leave pet food or scraps out overnight
- Seal cracks and gaps around skirting, pipework and cupboards
- Empty the bin daily and rinse before relining
- Fix dripping taps, as cockroaches need water more than food
